Award ceremony recognizes the best in the geospatial industry. Community may now indicate the finalists

The greatest Geomatics and Geospatial Solutions event in Latin America will recognize, from the community votes, the best professionals, institutions, companies and brands in the geospatial industry, during MundoGEO#Connect Awards 2014. The awards ceremony will be held on May 8, the second day of MundoGEO#Connect LatinAmerica 2014, that will take place at the Frei Caneca Convention Center in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

Get to know the winners choice stages:

• First stage (held in November) – The geo community chose, through an online survey, the categories for the next year awards;
• Second stage ( 12/01/2013 to 02/14/2014 ) – indication of who should be the finalists for each category;
• Third and final stage ( 17/02/2014 to 04/18/2014 ) – winners indication for each category from a list of the five most voted in the previous stage.

“It’s importante to have in mind that 100% of the voting is online and made by the geo community, from the choice of categories to the five finalists and the winners,” said Emerson Granemann, director and publisher of MundoGEO, organizer of MundoGEO#Connect Conference and Trade Fair.
