MundoGEO#Connect Latin America (EN)

MundoGEO#Connect LatinAmerica is an annual show hosted by MundoGEO, a media and communications company founded in 1998 that today is the market leader throughout Latin America in the geospatial and drone (UAV) segment. MundoGEO is connecting more than 100,000 professionals through its diverse channels, such as magazines, content portal, webinars, social media and it also organizes in the same time and placen every year the largest and most important conference and fair in the drone business, the DroneShow Latin America.

The previous edition of the MundoGEO#Connect LatinAmerica, Geomatics and Geospatial Solutions Conference and Fair, took place in São Paulo, on May, 2017 and gathered specialists, researchers, users and entrepreneurs from numerous countries in the region and also from other continents. Attendance accounted for more than 3.080 participants and 120 speakers. The fair gathered 40 exhibitors and 70 Brazilian and international brands in the geotechnologies and drone fair.

The positive results gathered in the survey with the participants also indicate the response to the event proposal, in which 95% approved it. Other data show that the participants profile was formed by 38% in the public sector and 62% in the private secto. Occupations varied from directing and management positions with 58%, technical sector 32% and academic sector 10%.
