Participants may suggest issues for forums and seminars of the most important geotechnology event in Latin America
MundoGEO # Connect LatinAmerica 2012, industry’s largest gathering of geotechnologies in LatinAmerica – which will take place from 29 to 31 of May at the Frei Caneca Convention Center, in Sao Paulo (SP) – is launching a new survey to collect the opinion of the community about the topics to be discussed during the event. Click here to access the form. The form is only available until 6pm on the following Friday (12/23).The questionnaire is based on the Survey Monkey tool.
“Since the first edition of the event, held this year, the surveys in the community have been the main tool to ensure the success of MundoGEO#Connect,” said Eduardo Freitas, technical coordinator of the event. “We have previously used surveys to define the location, frequency, layout and general topics of MundoGEO#Connect LatinAmerica. With the current survey, we have the support of the community to make a collaborative effort and choose the main topics to be discussed in forums and seminars of the event, “he concludes.

In the first study launched by MundoGEO#Connect LatinAmerica 2012, participants helped to define some topics related to the event, such as coverage of Latin America, the attractions at the fair of products and services, the layout and content of seminars, short courses and simultaneous events, among other factors that make the difference in a successful corporate meeting. With the theme “Sharing information for a better world”, MundoGEO#Connect LatinAmerica 2012 will emphasize the current challenge of producing geospatial data, following the standards that make their full use simple by the information system users.
In this edition, the spots available at the MundoGEO#Connect LatinAmerica fair of products and services were increased by 50%. Furthermore, the number of auditoriums for the activities of the event was expanded by 100% in relation to the 2011 event.
